Industry Certifications & Qualifications
We participate in the AASHTO re:source program to actively gauge our performance. We also participate in ASTM’s Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory program.
Our technicians have received on the job training, certification and accreditation from the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET). We follow the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) procedures, including current developments within the construction industry. LOI ENGINEERS, a self-certified minority-owned firm.
Texas Board of Professional Engineers Registration
LOI is home to five professional engineers and three engineers-in-training ready to provide the best quality services for the success of your project.
PMP Project Management Professional
Four personnel from our executive team have earned their PMP Certification from PMI. They met the rigorous standards outlined by the Project Management Institute, and successfully demonstrated their ability to meet the demands of projects and clients across the western hemisphere.
AASHTO
LOI is accredited by the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP) and regularly participates in the assessment and proficiency testing programs of the Cement & Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) and AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL).
ACIL
LOI exceeds the recommended requirements for independent laboratory qualifications as published by the American Council of Independent Laboratories.
Health Services Radioactive License
In accordance with The Texas Department of State Health Services Radiation Control Program, LOI has the important mission to protect and promote the physical and environmental health of the people of Texas. LOI meets the necessary requirements to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to the public through effective licensing, registration, inspection, enforcement, and emergency response.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Validation (USACE)
LOI has a USACE Validation which allows for laboratory validation for aggregate tests, Portland cement tests, hot-mix asphalt concrete, and soils tests. This certification allows LOI ENGINEERS to partner with the Federal government.
ICC, Asphalt Institute, ACI, NICET, HMAC, ACEC, TxDOT, ASCE, Avetta Member, ASHE, IREM, NSPE, APA National and Texas, TSPE, ATI, ISNETWorld Member, Border Industrial Association (BIA).
